aspnet local account with Group Policy

The aspnet user account and the IIS IWAM accounts are local machine account. On a Windows 2000 domain I want to define these accounts from specific servers as having the right to logon as a batch job and logon as a service in Group Policy, but they keep losing their effective priviledges on the local servers after I add the machine account to group policy on the local machine.
Is this because the passwords are set to auto generate? Any ideas would be appreciated
