I am new to asp and how it all works.

The quesiton is, I have an asp page and when uploading it to the server it only shows the code and not the page as it should.

The server I am using is with my ISP and its the usual free MB space thing. Would this be the problem? I can't see them having support for anything but standard html.

Or is it my asp page. This is a silly question, but does the asp page need to be saved in a different format, eg similar to compiling a program.

Thanks

I don't think free mb isp support .asp but could be wrong. ASP must be processed on IIS or PWS in order for the run if this answers your question...

The host is Optus...I'm in Australia

I had a quick scan round Optus site and cant see any asp support without signing up for a plan. Brinkster do free webspace with asp support if you just want to test out your pages

Thanks, I will check out some free webspace providers and see how it goes.
