After a recent computer crash I reinstalled Frontpage 2000, IIS 5.1 (from XP Pro) and Frontpage extensions. My ODBC DSN is set up correctly pointing to an access database. However, now I cannot view any page with ASP code using Preview in Browser. This is limited to pages with the ASP extension in the file name. The browser window says “opening” but never gets beyond this point and just hangs. This all worked just fine before the crash and I have not added any new software. Normal HTML pages view just fine using Preview in Browser. Any ideas why this might occur?

Here are my key settings in IIS for default web server (same for all child sites)
HTTP keep alives enabled
Content is set up to come from local computer
Read, log visits, index the resources check boxes checked
execute permissions - scripts only
Application mappings - .asp - all verbs
Server extensions - Javascript for client scripting
