ASP Address Lookup Database 1

I have a client who wants to have an Access database on their server and the capabilities of users to type in a street address on a web page, and the web page would show several possible addresses, from which the user could select one. After the selection, a map would pop up showing their location from one of the client's businesses. Does anybody know of any application that would make building this easier?

The purpose of the map would be show how far a user would be from a location of the business. A similar link that describes this is

The licensing for this map software is about $10,000 a year, which is a lot more than the client wants to spend.

Also, how fuzzy does the SQL have to be to pull back several choices at the address? Example: Main, Mall, Maple, Manheim, etc?

The first link, to Microsoft, I've already tried. Microsoft would charge about $15,000, plus data, plus a per-click charge for every lookup.

But I will definitely check out the second one at the asp-store-locator.

Mapquest has a free service that allows you to pass values in the querystring to receive a map or driving directions through their site. They have some restrictions on the free site, but the keyword there (I think) is free. I think they call it LinkFree or something like that.

You can do static map links, querystring links, or driving directions.
