How can the ASG key on a Definity be overcome? What is needed to spit out the response for the challenge on the init login?

The ASG function of the Definity software (Access Security Gateway) uses an algorithum to give the tech a valid password to a specific login. There are software programs that the Avaya tech uses to login to the system with an "init" login. The tech enters the challenge number into the software, and it gives the correct challenge response back. If you can break this code, you could make a lot of money, illegally of course.

Is there any 3rd party programs I can use to get an ASG key. We use Procomm with 4410 emulation for all our systems.

Hardly ever any 3rd party program exists to compute ASG response because the algorithm of response computation is Avaya proprietary. You can use ASA (Avaya Site Administration) - it has a possibility to log on with ASG key.
