Can anyone tell me the ASA file that holds all the details of the switches/CMS/IVRs and voicemails in the ASA phonebook? I've changed PCs/laptops too many times and have to keep entering the site details each time I get a new PC and with 15 sites it gets time consuming!

I'm running Integrated Management 2.0.12

Cheers
Luke

Look for your persist.dat file. Look on the Avaya support site for ASA 2.0. Someone here mentioned a patch for it

In the future everything will work...

Another option might be to put the persist.dat file on a file server and just reference it in the ASA program ('tools--> options').

I always ftp my persist.dat file (after I back it up)to a private web folder. That way I can access it anyhere on the net. I am notorious for killing hard drives.

In the future everything will work...

Go to the above site and download the utility to backup the persist file. You can set it up to run on a schedule and backup to a desigated folder.
