I am running ASA release 1.11.08. I am having all sorts of buggy problems with it. I found some updates on the Avaya website but they are for 1.12.x, 1.13.x, and 2.x. I read through the documentation on them but nothing clearly says not to install them if you have a previous version.
So I backed up my configs and tried installing the 1.12 and 1.13 upgrades respectively. They completely hosed my ASA install. The patch setups evidently don't have any built-in checks to see what version is currently installed to warn the user.
I uninstalled and re-installed my 1.11.08 version and restored my configs. I'm back to square one again.
I'm guess Avaya had some updates for 1.11.x but is simply no longer making them available on their website. Does anyone know if this is the case? I am fine with my version till my next major upgrade, but I would like it to not crash on me so much. Anyone got any patches for 1.11.x?
Thanks in advance.
