Is there a way to have the system search starting from line 1 for an open line when "dialing 9" for an outside line? The system steps through all lines before trying the first one again.
I have an IPO 500 running 4.0(5) with 16 analog lines. This system is mobile and it can have a varying number of analog lines hooked up any given day. When there are only 3 lines, say, then the users get WAITING FOR LINE as the system tries line 4. Then the next time someone dials 9, it tries line 5, and so on. We get complaints that the lines are dead, when in fact the system is trying a line that has no voltage on it.
Any suggestions? I would rather not limit the number of lines in the outgoing line group since some days there are 2 lines, other days we may use all 16.
Thanks
