Can anyone please reconfirm my ariel typeface?

Yes, 16602 is the typeface number for Arial; however, there is a fair chance that issuing <esc>(s16602T by itself will NOT get you the Arial font. If the current font is Courier or Letter Gothic, you certainly will NOT get Arial. Always give a complete select string.

<esc>(s1p12v0s0b16602T WILL deliver 12pt Arial if it is available on your printer.
