There is VREPAIR which is like a CHKDSK utility in basic terms, but this has to be run with the volume dismounted and unavailable to the users. Do you have a more specific query?

Is this a traditional volume or an NSS volume? Which version of Netware? We need to know.. VREPAIR is universal across versions but only works on traditional volumes. There are different command line tools for NSS volumes, but they have changed over the versions.
Also it would help to know what happened (if anything) to damage your volume.
