Can I use XP remote desktop as a client and PC anywhere on Windows 2000 as the host? Or do I have to purchase PC Anywhere?

No, sorry.
Remote Desktop is a client to Terminal Server or to the Remote Desktop Host software found only on Windows XP Pro.

The client I'm working with has pcAnywhere, and is not likely able to get through VNC. You are right, I have VNC and would rather use it.

Thanks for the help, I'm going to purchase the 30 day license from Symantic for this situtation.
