Hello all.

I would like to know if changes to the schema of replicated tables at the publisher are automatically propagated to the subscriber or they have to be implemented manually.

Thank you.

Well, I am answering to my all question. YES, changes to the structure of the tables are propagated but only if they are made through the Properties of the publication or sp_repladdcolumn and sp_repldropcolumn stored procedures.

They are propagated with the next run of the snapshot or distribution agent.

Changes made in EM or through DDL statements in QA will not be propagated.
