I've pulling out what little hair I have left fighting a problem with submitting backup jobs in AS11.1.
When I try to submit a new job using AS Manager (BrightStor ARCserve Backup r11.1, build 3060), I'm getting the following dialog:
"An error occurred while submitting the job.
BrightStor ARCserve Backup Job Queue Error. (4294967295)"
I've searched CA's documentation and web site for this error, and other terms, but have had no luck finding out what might be wrong.
I have no problems submitting server backups to our single tape drive, or copying across the network to a backup folder on another server. The only difference I can see is I'm setting up this job to backup a workstation. (Actually, the same workstation that is running AS Manager.)
Any thoughts/ideas/troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.
