Arcserve v11 - keeps crashing on exchange job

Can somebody help me with this.

I've reinstalled arcserve. Reinstalled arcserve exchange agent and recreated an exchange backup account.

There is nothing in the log - you can just see it listing through the exchange mailboxes it has backed up, then it crashes for no reason.

Try disabling whatever antivirus software you have running and run a backup. It sounds like the agent is getting hosed by some other software on the box. I would start with the antivirus software first and then try some other things until you narrow it down to the program that is causing the conflict...Good luck....

Thanks for your input. Turns out it was a corrupt "deleted items" folder in an exchange mailbox. Took days of investigation so hopefully this post will save somebody some time!

I used to get that problem ALL the time with Exchange 5.5 and AS6.61 but haven't had it at all with XC2003 and AS 11.1 thankfully.

It can indeed be a nightmare to track down.
