Hi,

To cut a long story short, I am trying to get a BrightStor 9 script (.asx) to upload into ArcServe 6.61, both systems are Windows NT. When I upload the script into AS 6.61 SP2a, it fails with a DR Watson Error.

Does anyone know if the format of the script changes with each version of the product and if so, is there any way I can "Save As" a previous version.

Any help would be much appreciated as it would be a whole lot easier for me than manually setting up the backup again as I am backing up nearly 20 nodes each with different user ID's and passwords, not to mention the SQL agents and Exchange agents...

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi
What you are trying to do is not going to work,
You can only do the reserve taking asx from arcserve 6.61 to AS9 ,it is backward compatible not forward this mean you can take asx scripts from 6.61 to as9 only and not the vice versa.
There is no way to save the job as version
