???????? ??????????

Has anyone seen this before???
It's been like this since we re-initialized our databases.

Thanks in advance,
Remco

PS We are using ArcServe 2000 on Win2k SP3

Stop all the ARCserve services, close the manager, and then delete the ARCserve\database\r*.* files.

Now bring it up and try it again.

If it still fails then try running dbcheck to see if there is any corruption. If there is then either initilize it again or run dchain and keybuild (see faq478-4386).

Just to be sure view the same data directly from the file arcserve.log to see if it is just a display problem.

Thanks for your response, but that did not help. I checked the databases and no errors were found...

Any clues??

Thanks,
Remco

So maybe it was just chance that it happened after the database was initilized.

Check to see the extent of the problem.

Is it with all logs or just the job logs, and is it with all job logs. Also check the files directly to make sure it is not a Manager display problem. The logs are text files in the log subdirectory.

Also make sure you are current with ARCserve 2000 updates.

it works!
I re-installed SP4 and that seemed to fix it... Thanks for pointing me to the right direction.

Remco
