Arcserve Exchange 5.5 Agent

I am running Arcserve 2000 and trying to configure the Exchange agent for a bricks level backup (Exchange 5.5). I run the agent configuration program and enter the account with appropriate user rights, the mailbox, the password, and the domain. After I hit okay, it says it's trying to authenticate the account and returns Authentication Failure: Fail to create profile --- Check the [C:\ExchVerify.log] for detail and make sure the User Mailbox Name or Alias is correct and Unique. <case sensitive!!!>

Any help or advice you could offer would be appreciated.

I installed exchagent a while ago but I think you are supposed to logon to the server using the exch account, you need to have a mailbox for the account, The account has to have exch admin permission on all levels and also make sure the account is not hidden.
