Hi All
I have an issue with v.6.5 backup job which formats a new tape in the library before starting the backup. A tape in the library already exists, but this tape is never used it always grabs a new tape and formats it. I use the Custom Job to configure multilple jobs to go onto one tape regularly, but I can not seem to find the problem with this one. I have checked the the "Append to" tape is selected and confirmed that I don't have a typo in the Destination etc. I have also check the tape is not full by formatting a fresh tape with the correct name. I have also resubmitted the job a number of times, the only thing I have not done is recreate the job from scratch.
Could there be something else which I have over looked. Any suggestions would be helpfull.
