Has anybody come across the above errors, are there any resolutions for this.
I'm trying to restore some data from a fsd device(disk) and it is coming up with the above errors in the activity log and failing the restore.
E6096 -media error absl:0030cmd 8h
E3713 -unable to read media EC=unrecoverable data error
AE0084 -fail to read data from media CMD=sRC=1
AE0067 -fail to read data from media

Never heard of a UDE from a FSD. That would imply that the data on the hard drive has become corrupt. First copy it and then try running the typical utilities to fix HD corruption.

Abit on the background -
I have created an FSD using arcserve and backed up the c: drive, now the c: drive has gone corrupt.
I want to restore this using Arcserve from another machine with arcserve. I merged the session of the c: and can see the c: files in the dbase. I did a parrallel NT installation on another dir. I am now trying to restore the c: backup I did from another server getting the above errors.
