Arcserve 11.1 very slow when backing up favourite network places-tape

Hi,

i have a speed problem when backing up via favourite network-places (like \\Server\data) on tape.
The average speed is 5-50 MB/s ! Normal speed is about 300-400MB/s on our HP Dat72. The problem is not the network because when i use HDD instead of tape the speed is very fast ! How can i solute these problems ? Anyone knows ?

Check to see if the controller the tape drive is attached to is sharing resources with the NIC.

Youre right ! I changed the IRQ and it speeds up !
