Hey folks, I have just recently started experiencing problems with our nightly backups with Arcserve 11.1, with SP2. The program will open just fine, but going to Job Status or Device Manager will just totally lock the program up. I have waited and waited what seems like for hours for it to respond and nothing. Rebooting the server, initialize the database, deleting log files, and such is what I have tried so far.
Anybody know what might be causing this? I have not applied any patches recently. Also I have been reading some post that the Tape Drive itself should be disabled in Device Manager, I didnt know this, been running for years with it enabled, is that a problem to do?
