I am getting ready to add SSL to a site. The site that i am adding it to is the Default website on our server. I have been testing with some temp licenses, the site is not live yet, and have noticed that if i name the certificate something other than what than Default web site, i get a warning message that the certificate name does not match the site that i am accessing. Or something similar. Is this a big problem? i am getting ready to install a permament license and dont want to mess it up.

Thanks.

It is not necessarily a big problem in that it will function, but you really do want your common name in your cert to match the fqdn of your web site so that your end users do not have to endure the error message.
