Applying SP1 to Office XP Administrative Install Point

I have been trying without success to apply Office XP SP1 to the Admin Install point on the network using the method outlined on the XP SP1 cd -- msiexec /p (.msp path) /a (.msi path) /qb but keep getting an error.

Does anyone have any other methods that can be used.
