The network consists of one SBS 2000 (small business server Win2K Server) and some 35 clients.

About 18 run Win2K professional (group policies applied)
About 12 run Win98 DUTCH version
About 6 run Win 98 English version

I know how to set a policy using POLEDIT on one machine and than put it in the \\severname\netlogon directory...
BUT the policy will only be used by clients with the same language

Is there a way to have 2 (or more, because I also have 2 GERMAN versions) config.pol files on different locations (on the server) so that also other language clients will set the policies?

Thanks, Harpert

The easiest way would be to set all of your machines to manual update and point them to the specific .pol file you want them to run. You could roll this out through a logon script and a .reg file. You would simply test for language version and then apply the appropriate .reg file that contains the settings to change to manual update. Post if you want more detailed thoughts on this. Good luck.
