Which Applications are giving this error and is this the full error message?

Have you looked in the Event Viewer for any further information.

Have you installed anything prior to getting this error?

You might be able to use System Restore to return to a point before these errors began.

Its happening on random programs Its full message only the references change

I havent looked at the event viewer (didnt know about and dont know how to get to it)

and Nothin has been installed prior to gettin these messages

Plenty of reading here.

To get further information about the error look in your Event viewer.

Look in the System or Application folder. You can get to the Event Viewer via right click My Computer icon and select Manage.

Any errors logged in the Event Viewer can be expanded by double clicking on the error line.

Take any event error I.D. number and search for it on this site.

Check your machine for Spyware.

Some general things to try.

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking.

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

If you want the highly technical cause of the crash look in the Documents and Settings/ All Users/ Application Data/ Microsoft/ Dr Watson/ Drwtsn32.log

Find the entry that is relevant by date and time to the crash you are investigating. The exact cause of the crash is indicated by "FAULT ->" on the left of page next to line of code causing crash. This, if your as cluey as me, wont tell you much but you can use it to see if it is the same fault all the time, and further up the log you can find what processes and modules are running.

Right Thanks I will Try these

There used to be a thread in the NT forum about this very problem. There can be a variety of causes for this problem. HP printers' DLLs seem to be one cause, a bad PageSys was another, malformed DLL's (even MS) was another. I'm trying to track down to the thread as there were several helpful suggestions.

This lists the error codes but all it says is that the Operation Aborted.

I notice that you don't appear to have SP1 installed. Perhaps updating Windows and possibly Messenger (or any other application that is crashing) might help.

Incase these are hardware related faults you might like to check your RAM out via -

I'd also be wary about anything to do with WinMX, Kazaa, or Morpheus.

Might be a good idea to check some of your processes out via Google to see what turns up.

I am going to make a semi-wild stab at this one.

The original thread starter shows an error reading at 0x02e0xxxx. This looks very much like the starting segment for the adapter rom support on his ethernet NIC card. You should try updating the NIC drivers, but if this is a FAH311/312 series, I can save you the effort and just throw it out. In any case this is a hardware issue, and replacing the NIC should be done if a new driver set does not provide relief.

I am going to check ram I hope it not the Ram But I am Starting to think that it could be

bcastner
I dont think it is my nic because it this problem has only started in about a week ago and I have had the card in for months without any problem and most of the time I have it disabled and only enable it when i want to connect to my other pc
And the error reading is diferent all the time Just now i got one and the referenced memory is at "0x0022005c"

I think that this all has to do with me having to finsh my college work tommorrow and that on saturday eveything will be fine
LOL
