Is it possible to append text to a text file from a command line in dos? (sorry, no dos forum I could find). Figure this is a quick and easy yes or no. Thanks, folks.

Hello skicamel,
Code:
>type 123.txt >> 456.txt
>echo append this text >> 456.txt
regards - tsuji

That second line is exactly what I needed. I posted a more detailed reason behind the question in thread181-671658. Thanks!
