I have managed to change the IP address of my 9606 and now I can't access it.

I have tried to look for the mac address of the unit on the underside to conigure it that way, but it isn't there....

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Rob.

I believe if you hold the reset button for 10 seconds the LEDs will flash and it will reset to factory defaults. Also, if I remember correctly, the MAC address is on a sticker convenienly located on the circuit board. You'll have to remove the card to get the MAC. (Unless of course you manage to get it working via the reset.)

I thought I had put in a wrong IP address in the unit as I couldn't ping it.... Tried everything except shutting down the whole rack and removing the card itself to get inside for the mac address.

In desparation I hit the reset and it came online almost instantly with the settings I had put in 6 hours earlier!

I though clicking "apply" was enough.... Obviously not with the 9606.

Thanks for your help though Jeff.

Rob.
