AOL opens when clicking on a hyper link

I have a customer sho had AOL and switched over to broadband. We set her up with Microsoft Outlook 2003 for email. Works fine, except when she receives a clickable URL in the body of the email. It opens AOL and goes to that page (URL).
I checked all of the file type settings and htm and html are both set to internet explorer (although the default is AOL). I called AOL and they had me turn of auto aol. Did not help. Went into internet options and all of the programs to non aol.
Any help would be appreciated.

I recommend uninstalling anything to do with AOL.
