I have a customer whom is a Farmers Insurance agent. I just installed AOL DSL at his office. He can get onto the internet fine & all, but he has a problem. Farmers Insurance gives their agents their own e-mail through Farmers, which is POP3. Now, the big question is: Is there a way to use outlook & check mail while connected through AOL. I'm really green on this AOL DSL, so perhaps it requires some configuration to make outlook work through it. Perhaps there's a proxy to go through that I'm not aware of? I don't know, but anybody who does, your help is greatly appreciated.

Outlook will not access remote POP3 accounts whereas Outlook Express will.

But you can usually pay an upgrade fee to most POP3 servers in order to use Outlook.

You can with mail.com and hotmail but not sure if AOL works that way. *Remember.......
