I'm running Computer Associates Secure Content Manager on a 2003 Server and a couple of days ago the Quarantine Mangaer quit working. The console is logging that it is sending the spam to the quarantine, but there are no emails in there. I have not been able to figure it out. The only thing that I do find is an error message in the event log:
The description for Event ID ( 258 ) in Source ( eTrust Common Services ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: :SAF_E_1029, Write at end of file C:\Program Files\CA\SharedComponents\eTrust Common Services\SAF\ALPHA.eCCQmsObjSAF.saf failed, error = 9, Bad file descriptor!.
I fould the file that it is referring to, but not sure what the problem is with the file or what the file does exactly. I can't find any info on CA's support site.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
