I recently had to use the auto reapir option to fix a friend's Win2000 Pro operating system, and it worked, except now alot of the program links are broken and pointing to the wrong places. I think this happened becaue after repairing the OS, it created a new directory that exactly mirrors a prievious directory except one "r" has been added in the directory name. How THAT happened, I'll never know.
Anyway, I am looking for a solution in windows to find and repair the missing links, or possibly a 3rd party freeware or shareware program that will do this. I could probably go in by hand and fix most of the links, but there are so many of them; it would be alot more efficient to have a program that does this. Anyone know of such a program in windows or elsewhere? Thanks!
