Any ideas on how to determine if Apps are Valid/benign??

I am looking for un-authorized apps/procs.

I am already looking at:

- Version Data
- path
- shortcuts

But unfortunately, that does not seem to be enough.

I am trying to discover other ways to look to see if they are legitimate apps. Any ideas?

Can I (we) assume for this that you want to know if someone running your app has blagged it? In other words is the software running a legitimate copy?
