hey all - i just installed the evaluation of enterprise edition since i am studying for the exams. I have this set as a domain controller and connects to the internet and obviously want to put an antivirus on here and would like a free one if possible such as avg which does not have a server edition - do you guys know of any antivirus that i could use. thank you.

You can downlaod a trial version of Trend Micro and run that. Should last about as long as your server trial version.

You might want to take a system snapshot before hand so you can reinstall the trial if needed.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

avast is good, and free...

Clam is good, but does not have any realtime protection that I am aware of. I use it with my e-mail server to scan incoming mail. Works great for that application.

Avast is good AVG is also pretty good
No experience with Trend, but i'm sure it is fine as well.

Good Luck!
