We are running Antigen (a virus scanning software) on our exchange server. Over the last couple of days each afternoon the server has started doing strange things, not sending, not recieving or both and each time it seems to be related to some error logs related to antigen. We cannot stop the service because it is linked to the smtp service as well.

Does anyone have any expierences that they can relate to about this program?

We are running version 7.0. We are thinking about going to version 7.5. Does anyone have any information about this version?

Thoughts?
Concerns?

Thanks.

Are you sure stopping the service will affect the SMTP service? I am running Antigen 6.5 and do not believe this is the case. Our only concern with ever stopping the Antigen service is that there is no virus protection.

What are the errors reported in the Application Log of the affected server that you referenced?
