I have used various spyware programs in the past to get rid of spyware on my son's computer. Bcastner suggested the Giant Company Anti spyware to clean up my machine. I used the trial version and it appears to be a good program. It found several issues my other spyware programs did not find. Has anyone else used this products and if so what are your thoughts?

Obtain and use several.
Giant has earned my repsect as of late.
Also, one is well-advised to keep on hand: SpyBot, AdAware, Bazooka Spyware Scanner, WebRoot's Spysweeper, CWShredder, and Hijack This!
The fact of the matter is that, like AV software, anti-malware progs are largely reactive devices.
Some have strengths versus others, but when a good arsenal is applied in tandem, you will only benefit.
You must be on your toes, however, as a frightening number of the "anti-spyware" tools out there are actually bundled with malwares themselves.
