answer only mailbox

Hi All.

I remember reading a thread somewhere here about setting up an answer only mailbox, so that the user greeting is played (voicemail greeting) and then dropping the call, but for the life of me I can't find it.

Can anyone tell me how to do this on a vmpro voicemail?

why not just use a generic prompt in the call flows to handle this? I have found that answer only turns off the customer greeting and enables a default greeting. What are you trying to accomplish?

Add a leave action for the User, connect to a Generic action that plays a wav file and discconnect

Bonus, make the prompt ../Greetings/greeting_1.wav and have the user record Greeting 1 in their own mailbox to be played by the Generic action (of course replace "greeting" with their actual account name)
