I can create a subnet like this : 204.156.5.80/28 ... ip range 80- 95. But can i subnet it like this : 204.156.5.81/28 .... so it uses the ip range 81 - 96.
This might be overly cryptic, but to really understand subnetting you have to think in binary. Learn to subnet in binary and then switch back to use decimal. Once you understand this in binary, the rest will make infinitely more sense.
