another fatal exception

anyone experience before this message or know what is it?
a fatal exception 0E has occured at 0028:C17A5DAA in VXD Asp4Wave(01) + 0001455A. The current application will be terminated.

Just from the name of the virtual device driver it mentions, Asp4Wave, it sounds like there is a conflict with your sound card and something else. Like perhaps you ran a program and it tried to access the sound card and there was a problem at that point.
