I've configured smb.conf to allow a user / client machine to connect, and I'm seeing all folders, sub-folders, etc. but they're all empty. The folder/file permissions on the folder are 776 (tried 777 also w/ no success).. I've read that this could be a hidden file issue, but to my knowledge these files aren't hidden.

So, if I'm able to authenticate does this mean the problem is not in smb.conf and just a permissions / hidden file issue? What else can I try? Thanks!

Nevermind, figured it out.. For those of you who run into the same thing, it was stupid SElinux. I disabled it for smb and bam, all files show up now.
