I have a problem. The audible volume on my announcements differs by approx 6db from internal to external callers. When you dial into any one of my call centers from the outside world, everything sounds good, announcement volumes are at an acceptable level. However, if you call into the same call centers internally, there is a 6db increase in the announcements and my agents are complaining.
I understand how the 2 party loss plan works between phones, but where is this adjusted in relation to announcements? I could resample all of my announcements and lower them by 3 or 4 db, but then that would make them too quiet for the customers dialing in via a TFN.
Any ideas are appreciated.
