Animation from movie 2

Every now and then I see a flash swf that looks like it was made from a movie look at this:

see the silhouette... how is this done... please if anyone knows please explain, a simple "yes it can be done" is not the answer I'm after, nor is "from a movie" very helpful.

I really dont know how to do this and would like to knbow how, is there a tutorial around or does someone have a step-by-step?
