Hi all, I have a case that an inbound call comes in it passes through Avaya and terminating at Castel softswitch, but I don't see ANI numbers passing through softswitch at all. Do you all have any idea on what to change on the Avaya side to make this happen. For one thing it does not make any different when I have changed SEND ANI FOR MFE to a Y on page 1 of a COR. I am running CM version 6.0. Appreciate for all your inputs.

I assume you have a trunk of some kind between the Avaya and the softswitch, if thats the case go into the trunk group config and on page 3 you should see the option of Sending Calling Number. Make the change to Y and see if that makes any difference.

I've never worked on that early of a system, but I'm pretty sure at version 6.0 that can't be done then. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge of version 6.0 can help out
