Change the IP address of my Asterisk server in NRS as we moved it to a different IP, now I am getting LOG0003 errors like they are going out of style! I went ahead and reset my SS and still getting the errors. Calls work in both directions with the Asterisk, just getting these errors. Any ideas?

Code:
12:50 LOG0003 SIPNPM: CSTAAmlHandler_ItgMsgPBXAmlLinkRes: pbxAmlLinkInit( Unknown 0x1 )
18/10/2010 15:13:05 LOG0003 SIPNPM: CSTAAmlHandler_ItgMsgPBXAmlLinkRes: pbxAmlLinkInit( Unknown 0x1 )
18/10/2010 15:13:20 LOG0003 SIPNPM: CSTAAmlHandler_ItgMsgPBXAmlLinkRes: pbxAmlLinkInit( Unknown 0x1 )
18/10/2010 15:13:35 LOG0003 SIPNPM: CSTAAmlHandler_ItgMsgPBXAmlLinkRes: pbxAmlLinkInit( Unknown 0x1 )
18/10/2010 15:13:50 LOG0003 SIPNPM: CSTAAmlHandler_ItgMsgPBXAmlLinkRes: pbxAmlLinkInit( Unknown 0x1 )
18/10/2010 15:14:05 LOG0003 SIPNPM: CSTAAmlHandler_ItgMsgPBXAmlLinkRes: pbxAmlLinkInit( Unknown 0x1 )

disable and enabled your virtual DCH on the PBX, see if that gets rid of it.... sounds like its to do with Message waiting maybe....

Triton, thanks for the tip. I tried that and actually while the Dchannel was down, got the error and then again after it came back up:

? real strange,

not sure how many CDP entries you have pointing at the Asterisk gateway in your dialing plan, but add one or resave a couple, not sure if the NRS has some residual info about the old IP.... also make sure you have the latest patches,
you can also MIRROR the port and capture sniffer traces, see it the NRS/SS is sending packets to the OLD IP....

also if you take your Asterisk off line do the logs stop? Maybe it's the Asterisk that is sending something with the OLD IP address....

Triton,

I was able to knock some of these out. With the Asterisk server off, I am still seeing the same errors. I also went int NRS and changed my route and then commited it and then changed it back. Still getting the errors.

Thinking of throwing wireshark on the hub and see if I see any packets to the old IP address, then the only problem will be trying to figure out what the heck is sending them there.

Thank you for your assistance here!

well.... it sounds like it's not affecting anything anyways.... not sure why it would be generating this, but it sounds like it's SIP specific....

i would look at all the install steps to make sure that there is no other area where the IP change might not have been done.

sounds like an INI of the PBX would be a long shot.... (if you run out of ideas)

but unless something is broken..... you might cause problems by trying too hard to make it go away :)
