I have a customer with a 500 runing 4.0.10, they have several Analogue Cordless handsets. occasionally when an incoming call is answered on a cordless they press R and the caller is cut off instead of being held. this is not user error as i have been and tested it and seen it myself. in system status the call just drops. i upgraded it from 4.0.5 but no change, i would guess this happens about 1 in 20 calls. all the analogue control data is set to eng so i dont want to play. any ideas?

It looks as if your analog cordlesshandsets use a flashhook time that is very close to the maximum of the IPOffice in eng locale (25-350ms)
So look if you can alter (lower) the flashook time on the cordless base stations.
If this is not an option on those basestations then
set a higher flashook time on the specified extions.
System\extensions\analogtab uncheck the 'use system defaults' box and set the max time to 500 or 600 and try again.
