Users have been complaining that they are having problems getting trunks to make external calls. I was checking the trunks and I noticed something like in the print below.

trac 28 1 2 2

ACTIVE TN 028 1 02 02
ORIG 020 0 00 07 COT RMBR 21 17
TERM 028 1 02 02 COT RMBR 21 47
DIAL DN NONE
MAIN_PM ESTD
TALKSLOT ORIG 45 TERM 75
QUEU NONE
CALL ID 0 6011

Could someone interpret this information for me? Thanks.

Trunk 12 17 called trunk 12 47 and no number was called.

What kind of problems are you having, a little info might help.

those two trunks are tied to each other.. a conf call, the calling party (internal) hangs up but the provider never saw a disconect.. in the rdb check supervision, it needs to be no and ndec fdec both need to be eth.. on the trunk itself cls thfd needs to be included..

that can be caused by a hacker dialing in and out but the dialed dn none looks more like a conf call tear down.. if it gets worse or those prompts are correct then look at your flash timers

Don't you find that odd? The call came in on 20 0 0 7 and terminated on another trunk. Shouldn't it have terminated on callpilot or a DN?

Users are complaining that they are having difficulty getting an outside line. I've tried it and I'm getting the same problem. We are in the process of purchasing an upgrade to remove most of the analog trunks so that they can be replaced by T1s.

no, it was very common in older analog trunk days.. part of the call, the path to the mail or att or station has disconnected and the two trunks will never rls... check those prompts or do a trac 0 xxxx on the acod and then the members that trac busy.. i used to monitor 300 analog trunks and i never found less then 10 percent in trouble

Have you tried tracing your own phone when tyying to make a call to see what's happing???

I don't find it ODD it depends on how it was setup. It could have been a DISA call, but your asking us to make guess's here without any info from you.

Have you stated the PRI in LD 60?? What do you get?? Post the stat results here so we can see what your talking about.

John, could you give me some commands that I use to check these trunks on a regular basis? That's until I change everything to T1s.

the best one for two way trunks is ld 36 lmax 0 x with x the route.. another one i like is ldns 0 x that one shows trunks that didn't rec disconect supervision and i used the trac 0 acod command to see each trunk, either busy or idle.. then trac each busy trunk as low traffic.. if you run those once or twice a day you should be able to keep them idle.. those ld 16 and ld 14 commands will help if not stop the hang ups... if you need to ld 21 prt rdb and post it, we can look at it and maybe give you a little more help.

Have you tried any of these???????

Have you tried tracing your own phone when tyying to make a call to see what's happing???

Disable and re-anable one of the trunks - this will free them up

Have you tried going to LD 80 and doing a trac 0 9 to see the ststus of all your trunks at one time????

This is the last post i'll answer on this thread as you don't seem to want to do any of my sugestions and post the info.

Sounds like somebody needs to cut down on the coffee.
If you don't like it if someone doesn't take your
advice, then maybe you should not post.

It's not so much that I don't like that he doesn't answer my post's, it more about he want's help with something he doesn't have the answer to and he wants us to keep guessing at an answer because he won't supply the info we require to make an informed responce.

PS check my rating, i'm number 2 in helping people.
