Analog trunk port to a station port

I recently swapped out a IPOffice 403 and installed a IP500v2 9.0.2 that was using a trunk port on the 403 that connected to a station port on a pbx at a hospital. The hospital calls the station port on their end then it rings in on the trunk port on the 403. Since installing the new IP500v2 the connections makes a popping noise and every other word cuts out. I have played around with the impedence on the trunk port but no change has happened. What other settings should I look at? Gain?

Are you using a combo card with the Analog Trunk Daughterboard or a 4-port Analog Daughterboard on a Base Card or a Trunk Module?

There was a product correction notice bulletin release on 18-May-2011 regarding whining, whistling and buzzing If using a combo card. See link:

It is using a combo card. I swapped it with the fax line that is in another port on the same card. The problem stayed with the connection between the two systems. The fax line sounded great when tested.

Verify the combo card to ensure its not one of the ones that are problematic.

Check the polarity on the line to ensure its not reversed.

If you monitor the line with a testset do you hear the issue on the testset or only through the Avaya system?
