We have an Opt 81c running older rev analog cards. System has good clean power and is on a UPS. We have a problem with ports on the older analog station cards just giving up the ghost. The newer cards are fine. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Thanks

not to any degree, some of my analog cards are over 10 years old. i never leave a bad port on a card, but i have had one bad analog card in the last 12 months. maybe 8 or 10 replaced beecause of 1 bad port. but i have over 200 analog cards

not 200, just enough for 3672 analog phones, you can do the math, it's friday

we had to replace our analog cards on our 81c all 60 of them

Yes TD, we have the same problem. We are replacing the cards as they fail. Newer cards are fine. I was not aware of any problems that Nortel may have had with the older analog cards.

Experience has shown me that when you lose one port on an analog card other ports on the card will die soon. be prepared to replace it.
