Analize Exchange logs 1

I need to prepare some monthly reports from Exchange. Reports like users that receive more messages, users than send more messages, hour of the day with more activity sending and or receiving, etc...

Is there an easy way to prepare this reports? What software do you use for that? My budget is very limited, so please, recommend me something not very expensive.

Glenn Scales has some nice scripts that do some of this:-

Cheapest proprietary software is probably Promodag,

It's priced per server whereas most other stuff is priced per mailbox. Obviously there is a breakeven point with other software depending on the numbers.

Finally I've choosen Promodag, but not their software to make reports, but their software Promodag Storelog. This software is freeware and stores all logs of Exchange on an Access database, so I can create my own reports using any report software like Crystal Reports.

I can create all reports I want with no cost, because Promodag Storelog is freeware and I already had Crystal Reports.

I looked at Storelog a while ago but if I remember correctly the database it produced was absolutely massive on a busy server.
