Could anybody please help me.

I would like to enquire if it is possible to search for all machines with the directory C:\propdb or have in excess of 5 subdirectories after C:\admin$\profiles via amo. At the the moment I'm attempting to find a unique filename within the directory propdb, but this won't work for the profile problem.

I would be grateful for any assistance as I can't think of a way to do this.

Thank you

Ciara

The only way you can view directories is to use the "File Manager" within AMO - however there is no search function. During my many "happy" hours using AMO though I have needed to do something similar and did this by amending the login script used by all of our users to write a marker file and then used AMO to search for this file. For example, by adding this to the login script:

@echo off
if exist c:\propdb goto CREATEFILE
goto END

:CREATEFILE
dir c:\ > c:\marker.exe

:END

you can then search for marker.exe effectively giving you all the PC's with a c:\propdb directory.

Hope this helps :cool:
