Since i installed AVG Antivirus on my computer it detect a lot of file Folder.Htt files containing VB/Redloff virus. I already clean and delete all the files but the computer keep creating the Folder.htt files and detected containing virus.
What is Folder.htt files for? how can it been created automaticaly?

Folder.htt files are hidden files that are contained in most folders on you computer. They are basically design templates that determine how the folder will look. For example in the Windows Folder, when you first open it you wil be prompted with a message telling you that it is wise not to mess with the files in that folder, it is the folder.htt file that tells windows to display that message. It is actually quite a powerful file in the right hands as you can hide files from users etc..

As to the virus if it keeps appearing then it means that there is another underlying process (virus or not) that is creating these files.

Personally I would run another virus checker such as the free Trendo Micro online scanner
Also make sure you run some good spyware software such as Spyware and AdAware.

Also take a look at for full removal instructions.

And finally and most importantly make sure you have the most current hotfixes installed
